Event Description

This section of the Baltimore SPIE conference will be chaired by Tonny Benschop, a Board Member of the CSE and will focus on the recent progress in the areas of research and development of cryogenic coolers for sensing devices, spanning sensors for military, para-military and commercial applications (like gamma-ray spectrometers or low-noise amplifiers, as those required for signal treatment). The organizators welcome presentations concerning the various cooling technologies available to achieve temperatures below 180K. Customers are encouraged to present their specific requirements and challenges for the cooling of their device to cryogenic temperatures during this session as well.
