Event Description
EFATS is an annual series of industrially-oriented workshops on the application of superconducting and associated technologies to air transport, aiming to identify engineering and commercial challenges and opportunities.
Dr Pei and Dr Mike Hales of GKN Aerospace will Chair the Third International Workshop on Emissions Free Air Transport through Superconductivity for longer range or heavier aircraft (EFATS2023) on October 3-5, 2023 in Bristol, UK.
The programme will include:
- 2.5 days of technical presentations, discussions, and networking
- Reception and Dinner at Aerospace Bristol
- Tour of IAAPS
- Tour of Superconductivity laboratories at the University of Bath
- Tour of GKN Global Technical Centre
Note the 2023 workshop will not be broadcast and cannot be attended virtually.
